The Tenderloin: Missionary’s Downfall

The Missionary’s Downfall is a delicious and refreshing tiki cocktail. Its use of rum and honey make it sweet, but the mint also gives it a solid crispness and keeps it from tasting cloying the way plenty of blended tiki drinks do. Plus, man, what a name.

To be fair, unlike most tiki drinks, the Missionary’s Downfall isn’t super boozy, and is therefore better consumed for its flavor, preferably on a hot day. That said, it also doesn’t get gummy and overwhelming if the ice melts, and you can have more than one. Enjoy.
